The ECEC is happy to welcome parents, individual UC Merced students and campus clubs and organizations into our facility to become involved and enrich our program. We invite parents to talk to their classroom teachers or the director about ways they can enhance the program and become engaged.
All volunteers must be prepared to work with young children. The dress code includes closed toed shoes only (no flip-flops, high heels or strappy sandals), no spaghetti-strap tanks or strapless shirts. Spending time with young children could mean playing in the sandbox, sitting on the floor, painting or playing catch.
