If you are interested as an individual student to volunteer regularly (more than once) at the ECEC, please read the following and complete the forms below bring in the following required paperwork filled out. Please note that if you are a volunteer at the ECEC, you will not be allowed to privately babysit for the families. Please consider this before becoming a regular volunteer.
To volunteer, we require the following:
TB (Tuberculosis) test within the last four months*
Self declaration of good health**
Emergency Contact Form
Mandated Reporter Form
Required online training
*once received it is good ongoing for your duration volunteering here
**must be signed and dated
Once all is completed and turned in to the front office at the ECEC, you are required to read the brief written orientation prior to working. We then will introduce you to your assigned classroom for the semester. We ask that you remain with a classroom/age group for the course of one semester. The children form relationships with the volunteers. You may bring a lock to secure your personal belongings in a locker in the staff break room.
